I am currently helping a company with the SEO of several of their e-commerce sites. One of their sites is a gift site that is quite old and has a lot of problems with on-page factors, layout and design, url descriptions, content (lack there of), site structure…the list could go on and on. The META description will show up as a summary description of your site. Most web designers or business owners rarely research or consider what keywords they should include in the their meta description.
